Regulations model flying club Valkenswaard.

The regulations as they must be observed on the field at model flying club Valkenswaard.

Like any association, model flying club Valkenswaard also has its own house and field regulations

These regulations are intended to ensure that every member can enjoy the model flying hobby in a safe manner.

But also that spectators can look at our beautiful hobby in a safe way.

Each member is responsible for being able to and abide by these rules.

Rules.



Article 1: General


1.1All members receive a copy of these regulations when these regulations are introduced or when they join the association. by receiving this regulations declares every member to submit to these regulations and all future amendments.

1.2The board may grant exemption from these regulations.

1.3The association will provide the members with all necessary information about applicable regulations and other information, as far as it is in its power. (Being able to) take note of this and comply with it is a responsibility that lies with each member individually.



Article 2: Order and Flight Safety.


2.1Flying as the only one on the field is strongly discouraged from a safety point of view. If this is done, this is entirely at your own risk.

2.2The pilot (s) must be in a group in line with the take-off position while flying. (see Attachment 1).

2.3The model airplanes must remain within the specified limits during flight. (see Appendix 2).

a. Do not get so close to other aircraft that a risk of collision or nuisance may arise, unless proper agreements have been made between the pilots.

b. It is prohibited to participate in air traffic in such a way that persons or property are or may be endangered as a result.

c. It is prohibited to participate in air traffic above buildings, the pits or cattle and crowds of people at such a height that it is no longer possible. make an emergency landing without endangering persons or property on the Earth's surface.

d. Flights are allowed up to a maximum height of 300 meters above the ground or water. (If you have a valid FLRCV or KNVVL license.

e. for members without a license, a maximum height of 120 meters.

f. There is no flying, starting or landing towards the public or persons.


pay attention: The normal minimum flight altitude at the model airfield of Ultralights and other aviation is 150m. The maximum flight altitude

of model aircraft is 300 meters. so there is an overlap here and model airplanes must give way at all times.


2.4 It is strictly forbidden to take off from the pits. This is only allowed on the runway. (see Attachment 1).

2.5 The corresponding priority rules:

a. If you want to enter the runway or send an aircraft onto the runway, you must always report this to the pilots who are about to fly.

b. A stationary aircraft can never be at fault if it has been reported in advance that it is on the runway.

c. A landing aircraft has priority over a landing aircraft, this means that one may not take off when another pilot has initiated a landing.

d. The take-off and landing must be clearly communicated to the other pilots who are flying. Eg by te ask / shout takeoff, landing, crash

e. In case of multiple landing models, the “slow” will take precedence over the “fast” or the “lower”

for "higher" air traffic.
2.6 It is not permitted to fly a model airplane if the pilot's flying ability is affected by the use of medicines, alcohol, drugs or other substances that may affect the flying ability.

2.7 Every novice pilot is obliged to be assisted by an experienced pilot from our association while flying.

2.8 Only pilots who fly their model are allowed to stand on the portion of it

a field where flying is allowed, everyone who does not fly must remain standing or seated on the edge, (south side), with the exception of pilots' helpers and instructors from the club.

2.9 Board members are authorized to take disciplinary action by imposing or imposing a flight ban / banning for a certain period of time, an appeal against this is possible at the

3.0 Every club member is obliged to bring up unsafe situations in his / her opinion.

3.1 The following are authorized to fly on the field of mvc Valkenswaard:

• Members of mvc Valkenswaard

• Guest pilots from other associations, after permission from the board.

Article 3: Transmitters and frequency control


3.1The second kite who arrives on the field must open the frequency board and draw the attention of the kite already present. If this is not possible then all pilots present to keep each other informed of the frequencies used.

3.2If a pilot does not have his membership card in the frequency cabinet, the transmitter must be switched off and the antenna must always be retracted. This article does not apply to transmitters on the 2.4 GHz band.

3.3After flying, the model and then the transmitter should be switched off as soon as possible.

3.4When using a transmitter on the 35 or 40 MHz band, pull out the antenna completely and only then switch on the transmitter.

3.5Members flying in the mhz range may only operate their transmitter on a frequency channel number determined by the board. And in consultation with other mhz users.



Article 4: Model aircraft


4.1Pilots must ensure that no fuel is spilled on the site when refueling the model.

4.2The construction of a model airplane must be such as to reduce the risk of an accident due to breakage, failure or detachment of any part in flight. are excluded.

4.3Every model airplane can be checked for this by members of the board.

4.4The board can therefore prohibit a pilot at all times from flying an aircraft.

4.5The total take-off weight of a model airplane must not exceed 25 kg. Aircraft with a take-off weight> 25 kg must have an official inspection and registration with an authorized body.

4.6 The model aircraft must bear the owner's name and telephone number, or an official registration number.



Article 5: Environmental regulations (permit)


5.1Unlimited flights are allowed on our field with electric motors.

5.2Flying with a model equipped with a combustion engine is allowed with us.

5.3A model with a combustion engine must have the correct effective muffler.

5.4Also, no more than three models with combustion engine are allowed to fly in the airspace at the same time.

5.5Flying a model equipped with a combustion engine is only allowed between 1:00 p.m. and 5:00 p.m., outside this time it is only possible with permission flown from the board.

5.6The noise emission at a distance of 7 meters at a height of 1.2 meters, perpendicular to the exhaust vent of a model aircraft, must not exceed 80 dB (A).



Article 6: Rules of liability insurance and liability


6.1Each pilot is personally responsible and must be in possession of a third party liability insurance with adequate cover for model flying. This also applies to guest pilots.

Guest pilots must be able to show this policy (insurance card) before flying.

6.2It is not allowed to cause nuisance or nuisance to persons or objects outside the model airfield.

6.3In the event of damage to third parties with or by a model aircraft, the pilot immediately contacts the board. It is recorded in writing as accurately as possible

what happened, who are those involved, who was present at the model airfield at the time of the incident and who saw what happened.

Article 7: Guest pilots.


7.1Guest pilots can, exceptionally, use the model airfield. In addition to all rules that apply to members, they must also meet the following conditions meet:

7.2The club member responsible for the invitation is also responsible for the host pilot's compliance with the rules.

7.3Flying with turbine models is not allowed by guest pilots, unless they have received explicit permission from the board.

Article 8: Flying with turbine devices.


8.1It is allowed to fly with us with turbine models.

8.2However, in view of the environmental and safety aspects of flying with turbine devices, caution will generally be applied, which means that both the number of pilot's licenses if the number of turbine flights will be subject to strict conditions.

8.3Per flight day (1:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. exceptionally, deviations can be made, but always with the approval of the board) a total of 1 hour is allowed with turbine devices are flown.

Assuming for example: 6 min flight time this means a maximum of 10 flights per day.

8.4 To be eligible as a pilot to fly turbine devices, the following requirement must be met:

• The pilot must be in possession of a jet license.

• The driver must have been a member of the club for at least 5 years.

• The pilot must live within a radius of 25 km from the airport.

• In exceptional cases, these rules can be deviated from with the permission of the board.



Article 9: General terrain


9.1Only club members are allowed to use the airport without special permission from the board.

9.2The vehicles of both users and spectators can be parked at the designated places.( See Attachment 1)

9.3The public should be on the south side of the field, where the benches are.

9.4Entering the areas around the model airfield is only allowed to collect a model after a crash or landing.

Models must always be collected immediately and completely. In doing so, damage to crops should be avoided as carefully as possible.

9.5 Waste must be cleaned up and taken with you or deposited in the appropriate waste container.

Each member must ensure that the field is left clean.



Article 10: Rules of the Ministry of Transport and Public Works


The statutory Model Flying Regulations of the Ministry of Infrastructure and the Environment are an integral part of these regulations.



Article 1: Final provision


10.1Ensuring compliance with these regulations is the responsibility of every member of the association: if a violation is observed, the relevant to point this out to the person; repeatedly, this must be reported to the board.

10.2In cases where the statutes, house rules, airport regulations or license regulations do not provide and the board decides in the event of a dispute.
