About us
Modelvliegclub Valkenswaard is a fun club, modellers and pilots with its own model airfield in Borkel and Schaft.
Every year we organize a number of club days, where we strive to get as many members together that day.
During the club days flying is of course the main goal, but socializing and having a chat with each other, and brainstorming about the hobby is also part of that.
While enjoying a cup of coffee and something tasty beyond the coffee, there is a lot of talk about this beautiful hobby. And often during such a club day in the afternoon there is also something to eat.
In recent years the club itself has the pleasure to receive a competition F5B (special branch of the model flying hobby) at our own airport. Also during this competition we offer help to the competition pilots where we can.
History
Model Vliegclub Valkenswaard was founded in 1972.
The thirty-five anniversary was celebrated exuberantly in 2007.
It was a busy day and a fun party (see group photo of that day) with all the members who were present on the field at the time.
